Need to Adapt Your Sex Ed Program to a Virtual Format? We Can Help!

Given the new CDC school guidelines encouraging limiting of activities involving external groups or persons, organizations are faced with new challenges of providing high-quality sexual health education in an online-engaging format. In short, we must pivot our delivery methods or risk denying youth of important information they won’t get elsewhere. The HYD-PRC can help you make that shift.

The HYD-PRC’s expert training team is skilled at training health educators online and on a variety of evidence-based curricula. We also offer comprehensive technical assistance to organizations in effective adaptation and delivery of curricula in a virtual format. Our experienced team can provide training and technical support on:

  • 20+ evidence-based sexual health curricula such as Making Proud Choices, Making a Difference, SHARP (Sexual Health and Adolescent Risk Behavior), Prime Time and Safer Sex Intervention (SSI)
  • Evidence-informed sexual health curricula such as FLASH, 3Rs (Rights, Respect, Responsibility) and It’s That Easy! A Guide to Raising Sexually Healthy Children
  • Adolescent sexual health promotion trainings such as Answering Sensitive Questions: Creating a Safe Space for Youth and trauma-informed sexual health education

The HYD-PRC can help you and your organization continue providing youth with sexual health education during this critical time. The HYD-PRC provides interactive, skills-building health education and training to increase youth-serving professionals' and organizations' capacities. With over two decades of experience, our training team, led by Jill Farris, is sought-after as consultants, educators, and trainers.
